Step 1: Before booking

• Once you have decided to tie the knot in Mauritius, the rest is pretty easy. Choose your favourite Mauritius or any other of our wedding sites on the island of Mauritius.

• Make sure you understand all the legal and residency requirements before deciding on the dates. If you do not find any information relating to your country of origin, please contact us. A wedding Mauritius coordinator will be glad to assist you.
Step 2: Make Your Reservation
• For peace of mind we usually recommend couples to book as early as possible to avoid any disappointment, especially during the peak season.
• Contact one of our wedding specialist to check availability for your chosen resort.
• If you are travelling with friends and relatives, please let us know as we, most likely, will be able to offer you group discounts.
• A minimum non-refundable deposit of £200 per person is due when booking to secure a reservation.
• Make sure you secure your reservation by paying the deposit (if reservation is made before 12 weeks prior to arrival) or the total cost of the trip (if booking is made 12 weeks or less prior to Arrival).
Step 3: Prepare documentation
The documents process can be a confusing and complicated one, but with our team of specialists, the process is made simple and as stress-free as possible. Your wedding coordinator can answer any questions you have about the documents required for your wedding. Simply remember that all documents have to be forwarded to us at least 6 weeks prior to your arrival. The experience of having your wedding on a gorgeous, tropical island is well worth the effort!

Step 4: 1 week after booking
One week after booking, your wedding coordinator will send you your wedding information document. We advise you to read this thoroughly as it is very important to ensure you have all the relevant documentation and comply with the legal requirements to get married in Mauritius.
Step 5: 4 weeks prior to departure
• Check that your passport (and visa if you need one) are valid.
• Check you have all the original documentation to take with you to the resort.
• Contact your local GP to check any specific health requirements, vaccinations and other preventative measures should be taken in plenty of time, in order to be effective for when you travel.
• You will receive a confirmation letter detailing the date and time of your wedding ceremony.
• Contact our specialist team if you want to add any extras to your wedding (champagne, cake, video, flowers…).
• Finally, bear in mind that your wedding clothes will be travelling in the aircraft hold: make sure you have a suitable luggage carrier for them.
