Hotel overview
On the western shore of the island, between Flic en Flac and Tamarind and protected by the lagoon, nestles the Hilton Mauritius Resort & Spa, steeped in the fragrances of sugar cane and Creole spices. Perfectly integrated into its lush surroundings with their luxurious vegetation, the Hotel is bordered by a white sandy beach.
Accommodation
The Hilton Mauritius Resort & Spa offers 193 rooms, including 18 suites, - one presidential, two Senior, four Deluxe, eight Junior and three Corner – all on minimum elevation, as there are only two floors for the whole hotel complex.
The rooms, all facing sunset and the sea, are arranged in 14 small pavilions. Our guests are instantly immersed in the magical flora of the island : each pavilion bears the name of one of the 70 mango varieties.
The rooms are spacious and bright, with Asian and Mauritian decorations. The soothing sand and wood colours and the wooden furniture endow the rooms with a warm atmosphere and an environment conducive to evasion.
Everything is done to ensure the best conditions for the guest’s stay. Each room is fully equipped with a mini-bar, a personal safe with a security code and a telephone in the bathroom, which contains a bathtub and a separate shower. High-speed connection to the internet is also avalaible in the rooms. Guests can thus use this facility at leisure for surfing the Net or for business communication.

Ginger Thai Restaurant
This “à la carte” restaurant can seat 60 persons. The Ginger Thai welcomes guests in a splendid setting where the nibility of wood enriches the originality of the decoration. Art pieces from Thailand are displayed in giant claustra blocks hanging from the ceiling of the vast room. The Chef is a Thai national and occupied the same position at “The Blue Elephant’ of Al Bustan Rotana Hotel in Dubai. The Ginger Thai, which is the first Thai restaurant in the Indian Ocean, offers a traditional cuisine with spicy and acidulous dishes.
Melanzane Restaurant
This fashionable and regined gourmet restaurant, located in a quiet corner of the hotel and with its own wooden bridge for access, has a seating capacity of 40. Fish and seafood are a speciality on top of a large gastronomic choice. This restaurant is painted in seven different layers of pale yellow mixed with varnish or soap, which give out plain and changing colours depending on the lighting. The decoration is futurist with its silver flower vases and modern artefacts and confers a delightful atmosphere matching the high-class cuisine.
La "Pomme d'Amour" restaurant
With a seating capacity of 250, La Pomme d'Amour is the main restaurant of the Hilton Mauritius Resort & Spa, cool and airy. It overlloks the hotel’s man-made lagoon and ocean beyond. It is open daily for delicious bereakfast buffet and lavish, elegant dinner spread. Themed buffet evenings are often accompanied by an evening show.
Les Coquillages restaurant
Les Coquillages is located on the beach edge, overlooking the beautiful lagoon. This casual restaurant is open for lunch daily and has its own kitchen thus reducing waiting time and ensuring that dishes are served hot. This restaurant will offer you delicious sizzling fresh grills, fish, sandwiches, pizzas and various other disches served under little huts, allowing you to eat in the shade, feet in the sand.
Bars
Aqua Bar
Situated between the swimming pool and the beach, the Aqua bar is an evening meeting place for guests to watch events and shows taking place between the sea and the lagoon. It offers cool drinks, salads ans snacks that are served on the beach.This is the real heart of the hotel. Aqua bar welcomes you to a fantastic atmosphere full of activities, music and fun.
Vista Bar This bar offers a panoramic view of the whole resort as it is next to the reception area and overlooks the swimming pool, the lagoon and the dance floor. It faces the sea and offers a magic view, especially at night when the torches are lit. One of the main assets of the Vista Bar is the Jazz music subtly diffused to create a piano bar atmosphere.
Sports and Leisure
Leisure Activities In addition to the nautical activities such as windsurfing, diving, water-skiing, and trips in glass bottom boats, the hotel offers aqua-gym sessions in the pool, fishing on a pedal-boat or from the jetty.
Also available: beach volley, tennis (3 courts available), volleyball, badminton, table-tennis, tennis-volley, mini-golf, lessons of Creole, Sega dancing and Mauritian cuisine, “cannette”, “carom”, bingo, chess, yoga and football.
Guests have access to the library situated in a quiet corner near the “Vista Bar” where they can discover books by Mauritian and foreign authors.
Sports in the hotel & nearby
Apart from the sports and nautical activities available at the hotel, guests can also go fishing in deep-sea, sailing on a catamaran or horse-riding. The hotel has a 9-hole compact putting green for amateur golfers who can also play in private clubs.
All day long, the hotel’s entertainers organise different activities for its guests : morning jogging, tennis, badminton, aqua-gym, beach-volley, tournaments, yoga, etc.
Following sports activities are free of charge : wind-surfing, laser sail boat, hobbie cat, pedal boat, canoe, snorkelling, water-ski, glass-bottom boat.
Big game fishing, catamaran cruise, speed-boat cruise, para-saling & scuba diving are at a supplement.
Entertainment
At the Hilton Mauritius Resort & Spa, the Entertainment Team aims at presenting the most appealing entertianement shows and musical animation for the delight of its guests; Prime shows are scheduled several times a week, and a different band assures the musical entertainment each day of the week.
Spa
The Spa Mauritius, one of the finest spas in the Indian Ocean covers an area of more than 1 200 m² on two floors, in a very warm and peaceful atmosphere. It is surrounded by the guestroom pavilions, the tennis courts and Ti Poussin, the Kid’s Club.
