Hotel overview
Constance Le Prince Maurice is 45 km from the airport and 35 km from the capital, Port-Louis. This luxurious five-star hotel is set within 60 hectares of unspoilt land, amidst rare and luxuriant vegetation. An isolated peninsula surrounded by white sand beaches and a calm lagoon, brings to guests a unique emotion, an experience where spicy aromas blend with the perfume of the warm ocean.
Constance Le Prince Maurice evokes the splendour of a distant era: the spice trade. In fact it was , Prince Maurice of Orange and of Nassau, after whom Constance Le Prince Maurice is named who pioneered the discovery of those 'divine essences', in the Indian Ocean. One of the most symbolic of all spices, Nutmeg is the hotel's logo.
Accommodation
76 Junior suite (70 m² surface area) In buildings of a maximum of 8 suites with thatch roof, 10 ground floor/beach front facing and 8 on stilts on a natural fish reserve (swimming not permitted). They comprise of one bedroom with a sitting area indoors and a terrace or balcony, one bathroom with double vanities, separate shower, wc and bath. Junior Suites with connecting corridors are available.
12 Senior suite (130 m² surface area)
Individual thatched roof villas, nine with private heated swimming pool and located on the beach and three on stilts overlooking a natural fish reserve (no swimming pool and swimming is not permitted). Senior suites are one-bedroomed, have a living room with dining/sitting area with adjacent shower and toilet, walk-in closet, outdoor soaking bath and terrace.
Princely suite (350 sq m² surface area)
The suite comprises of two junior suites and one senior suite. Inside garden/patio, guests wc, mini kitchen for staff use, terrace/dining area and two swimming pools. Located directly on the beach in a secluded part of the hotel grounds that offer utmost privacy, the Princely Suite also benefits from three individual terraces each facing a different part of the lagoon.
Facilities
The entire property blends naturally with the beauty and simplicity of the environment. The use of wood, stone and thatch gives to the hotel its unique charm, characterised by an ambiance of total tranquility and refined elegance. All suites are air-conditioned and equipped with hairdryer, minibar, TV with internal DVD channels, stereo compact disc and cassette player, telephone/answering machine, WIFI (Wireless Internet Access, pillow menu and in room safe. The suites feature massive wooden furnishing and the colours reflect the "spice route theme" touch of the hotel. Bedroom amenities are of a quality and style unique to Le Prince Maurice.

L’Archipel
L’Archipel restaurant, located in the main building, overlooks the pool and the beach and set up across three areas, two of which are open-air deck areas. L’Archipel is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and it offers an à la carte service with light Mauritian enhanced gourmet food.
Le Barachois
Located in a unique environment at a distance from our main building and surrounded by mangroves, this floating restaurant comprises five decks seating a maximum of 40 people. It overlooks a large natural fish reserve with an exceptional unspoiled view of a mountain range. The sunset from Le Barachois is breathtaking. The floating restaurant is open for dinner and offers daily specials
including grills, seafood and Mauritian delicacies.
Le Beach restaurant
This restaurant of 60 place sittings is situated on a wooden deck located near the beach. All the furniture are made of wrought iron. Le Beach Restaurant is open for lunch with an à la carte menu and special event each evening.
Bars
The Laguna bar
Situated in the main building, the bar overlooks the pool and the beach. The Laguna has two sundecks and serves cocktail specialities of the house. There is light music entertainment in the evening (piano, jazz, sitar, concert flute).
The Lounge bar
Located in the main building overlooking the pool and adjacent to L’Archipel restaurant, the Lounge Bar is comfortable and intimate, ideal for an aperitif before dinner and after dinner drinks.
